First Ibexis Marine Data Buoys Deployed in Greece |

Ibexis has collaborated with Etherlink, our distributor in Greece, to deploy the first ever Ibexis Marine Data Buoys (MDB). The MDB is custom designed by Ibexis and incorporates our MSP, together with a number of optional sensors and instruments. The MDB represents a breakthrough in terms of size and cost for data buoys. We have deployed 4 buoys approximately 9 miles off the coast of Crete where critical measurements from the ocean are collected and transmitted via the MSP to the Ibexis gateway. These measurements are used to help monitor water conditions around an area of the ocean that is heavily populated by fish farms. For further information, click here
