Install Steps

Software

• 1. Install USB driver USB Driver [3,078Kb] - October 2008
• 2. Install IWCsetup.exe IWCsetup.exe 1.9.8 [5,162Kb] - 14 October 2009

Get Hardware Ready

• 3.Connect battery
• 4.Connect antenna
• 5.Switch on (right hand side switch up)
  • lights should come on
• 6.Wait for boot-up
  • Green light starts flashing (indicates communicating with network)
  • May have to wait some time for first use – as it has a lot of data to upload
  • This maybe upto a minute this time – it will be less subsequent times
  • All lights go off to indicate gone to sleep
  • It is ready!

• Run Software

• 7. Run ibexis software
• 8. Once only - you will be asked for account number : enter code provided to you

Plug in USB

• 9. Now plug in USB cable
  • lights should come on – and hear “ding-dong”
• 10. For each new MSP-first time only, it will say found new device and ask to run driver software
  • select automatic settings
  • software will tell you connected to port number.
• 11. it is ready to go

Use Program

• 12. click connect using rs232 – should show on log – downloaded settings file.
  • !!! If connection timesout – un plug usb
  • wait (could be up to a minute) for lights to go out
  • then try again
• 13. If successful – Settings tab should now be visible.
